- Click the General tab, go to Home Page, change the provided URL and click OK.
- Launch the browser, simultaneously tap Alt+F and select Settings.
- Under On Startup mark Open a specific page of set of pages and click Set pages.
- Change/remove the provided URL and click OK.
- Under Search click Manage Search Providers and remove (click X) the unwanted provider.
- Click OK to confirm the changes.
- Move to the menu on the left and select Extensions.
- Locate the unwanted add-on, click the recycle bin and select Remove.
- Open the Help menu by tapping Alt+H simultaneously.
- Select Troubleshooting Information.
- Click Reset Firefox.
- Click Reset once again to confirm and then select Finish.
