Great advice. Tks. All sorted and I’m a real technophobe so if I can do it… anyone can. Tks again!
Just wanted to say: THANK YOU! I was just about ready to throw my pc out the window. I tried every other advice I found on the web and achieved nothing for the past couple of days. Your instructions were so easy to follow and your program did what it promised. Hope you know that your work is appreciated, keep it up!
Thank you so much! I think it’s gone now…
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am so glad I searched out a solution to this problem and yours worked! I thought my computer was done for but with your help I don’t have to start from scratch again. If anyone else sees this and is having the same infection problem then believe me when I say you can trust the advice here and it works, even for the computer illiterate like me! Thanks again!!!
I downloaded SmitFraudFix.exe and restarted my computer in SafeMode. However when I click to run SmitFraudFix.exe in SafeMode, it appears in another language other than English. Anyone else run into this same issue and how you resolved it? I appreciate any help you can provide.
Getting back on my computer after following these easy instructions feels like a burden has been lifted and I think it even got rid of a multitude of malware problems I was having. I have to admit, at first, I was hesitant, but this process was quick, easy, and well worth the time. I did have a problem with step 11 given that I did not have local settings but I rebooted anyway (step 12)and it seemed to still get the job done. You experts are great! Keep up the good work!
Thanks. The fix worked well.
