WindowsTool Removal Guide

Do you know what WindowsTool is?

Despite the best efforts of the online security industry to secure otherwise many PC owners continue to fall victim to the lies and false promises made by rogue defragmenters like WindowsTool. WindowsTool in particular derives from the same destructive family of rogueware as Fake HDD and WinScan, and this evidence alone should act as enough motivation to permanently get rid of WindowsTool immediately. Despite what it would like its victims to believe WindowsTool has no ability to detect or heal any type of system error, and is nothing more than a malicious infection in itself.

This rogue enters the system surreptitiously and its infiltration is virtually undetectable. This results in it being much more difficult to identify and remove WindowsTool from the system. WindowsTool makes use of seditious Trojans to root its infection in its host PCs. These Trojans are distributed via fake online malware scanners and treacherous browser hijackers. WindowsTool has also been known to bundle its Trojans and malware together with other legitimate security updates and downloads obtained from third party websites.

The user will remain largely ignorant of WindowsTool’s presence on the system until the rogue starts its attack on the PC. This will happen through the user receiving various falsely generated security messages informing him that his system is operating less than optimally. These were designed to panic the user into thinking his PC is under attack, and that WindowsTool is able to fix the afflictions. This is quite obviously rubbish and only forms part of its attack on the system. Be on the lookout for the following fake security messages, among others:

“Critical Error
RAM memory usage is critically high. RAM memory failure.

Critical Error
Windows can't find hard disk space. Hard drive error”

“Critical Error!
Windows was unable to save all the data for the file \System32\496A8300. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware.”

Do not fall victim to this rogue’s insidious lies and keep your wits about you while dealing with WindowsTool. If you want to activate this rogue on the system and in that way avoid all of its incredibly annoying symptoms simply paste the following Activation code into WindowsTool:

The only way you’ll be able to regain control of your system will be to employ the removal power of a genuine security tool which will not only completely annihilate WindowsTool, but also protect your system against future similar attacks.

In non techie terms:

WindowsTool is a fake system optimizer simply out to rip you off.  It will not live up to its over embellished promises, and should not be allowed to remain on an PC.

Aliases: Windows Tool.
