Do you know what Windows Firewall Unit is?
The newly released and discovered Windows Firewall Unit is the latest addition to the Fake Microsoft Security Essentials scam. This seditious rogue antispyware application finds its roots in the same family as despicable and infamous rogues Windows Tweaking Utility and Windows Task Optimizer. Windows Firewall Unit will enter the system without the user’s acknowledgement or permission, and will lay low until it is ready to start its attack against the system.
Windows Firewall Unit will use any tactic available at its disposal to facilitate its unwarranted entry into its victims’ PCs. This includes exploiting browser and system weaknesses and susceptibilities, and using fake online malware scanners and seditious browser hijackers. Because of its stealth infiltration, the user may find it hard to identify and destroy Windows Firewall Unit.
As a first line of attack against the system, Windows Firewall Unit will launch a fake system scan as soon as it securely roots itself in the PC. This fake scan will warn of various false security threats, including the now infamously falsely reported Unknown Win32/Trojan and Backdoor.Win32.Rbot threats.
It will also proceed to cause severe system malfunction, consume valuable system resources which will result in poor system performance and deny the PC owner access to the Internet. Windows Firewall Unit will also prevent the user from running any executable on the system. This is done in an effort to prevent the user from running or downloading an application which could not only detect it on the system, but also effectively destroy Windows Firewall Unit.
In order to regain control of your PC, and protect it against any further damage and threats, erase Windows Firewall Unit immediately. This can safest be achieved by using a properly functioning, powerful and updated security tool.
In non techie terms:
Windows Firewall Unit is a fake security tool only out to rip you off. Obliterate Windows Firewall Unit before it causes irreversible and permanent damage to your PC.
