Wallpapers Toolbar Removal Guide

Do you know what Wallpapers Toolbar is?

Wallpapers Toolbar is a deceiving program, and it only advertises itself as a useful tool, but, in reality, it works on its own, and you won’t be able to use it as you have hoped. Apparently, this toolbar is supposed to let you choose from a vast wallpaper gallery or allow you to make your own photograph as your desktop picture; however, you can read lots of user comments stating that it is a useless toolbar, and it does not work. We could not agree more as we have found that this program is yet another Mindspark application and, knowing its previous clones; we can assure you that you should not take it lightly. Therefore, we urge you to use our recommended steps for its removal and clean your system from this suspicious program.

This application is on the same IP address with other Mindspark toolbars: petsharmony.com, aplusgamer.com, howtosimplified.com, etc. All of these toolbars are difficult to remove manually; also, they work in a similar manner, so if you encountered one before, you know what to expect. As you open your browser, you will see that this program has changed its appearance by making ask.com your search engine, adding useless toolbars, and social media icons on it. This toolbar is compatible with all the main Internet browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer, but if you download it by yourself, it attacks the browser that you were using at the moment as it assumes that it is your primary browser. Some users download this program themselves as they find it on the Chrome web store. We have no doubt that many of them believe that only reliable applications are uploaded there; however, you must always read the user reviews yourself. In this case, it would have helped as in most comments people ask how to delete this application because they cannot get rid of it themselves. Also, a lot of users complain that it is annoying and disrupting to their browsing.Wallpapers Toolbar Removal GuideWallpapers Toolbar screenshot

Other people have no idea how it entered their computers because they did not download it. In this case, Wallpapers Toolbar got in bundled with some freeware. It happens very often when users rush through installation and instead of clicking advanced settings, they choose automatic installation that seems much faster. The problem is that only in advanced settings you will see additional suggested programs and, most importantly, only then you will be able to deselect them. If you do not want any more unwanted programs, we advise you to spend a minute and read carefully through all the installation steps.

What’s more, using ask.com or those additional toolbars on your browser might be dangerous for your computer. Firstly, by downloading and installing Wallpapers Toolbar, you agree with its Privacy Policy, and it does not matter if you got this program not knowingly. So in its Privacy Policy, it says that “we may collect information from you that may identify you, such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number and anonymous Information, such as the number of your page views, link clicks, and login times.” Most of you would consider such information private as you probably do not give your contact information to anyone. Moreover, you won’t be able to control this process, and so you can never know what specific information will be gathered and, most importantly, how it will be used. Secondly, ask.com search engine is not a trustworthy search engine and by using it, you might expose your system to threats. If you click on ask.com displayed links, there is a chance that you will land on malicious websites. As a result, your computer might get infected with Worms, viruses, Trojans, etc. In addition, it trashes over your system as it creates many keys and CLSIDs in Windows Registry, these entries allow Wallpapers Toolbar to hide in your system as you cannot delete them automatically, and so it leaves many leftovers that can negatively affect your system.

You should not hesitate anymore and erase this toolbar from your system as fast as you can. Removing Wallpapers Toolbar can seem rather difficult for inexperienced users, but if you follow our instructions step by step, you should be able to get rid of it without any difficulty. However, have it in mind that, if you used this toolbar before realizing how dangerous it is, other infections might have entered your computer. If you want to be sure, check all the recently installed programs and delete the ones that do not look familiar.

In non-techie terms:

Wallpapers Toolbar tricks you into installing it and later makes changes to your browser without your permission. Legitimate programs do not act like that, and so you should not trust it. Also, it offers you useless tools that are not unique in any way, on the contrary, you can find and change your wallpaper without this particular or any other program.
