Do you know what Trovi Search is?
Trovi Search is a search provider, or a search engine, promoted by Conduit toolbars. It is highly advisable to pay close attention to the information displayed by the installation wizard in order to prevent changes on your Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. The Trovi Search is a search engine named trovi.com, which is powered by Bing. Due to the fact that you can browse Bing like any other search provider, we highly recommend that you remove trovi.com from the browsers.
The Trovi Search is an advertising supported search provider, which means that it earns revenues by bringing you various third-party advertisements, some of which may be associated with malicious websites. The Trovi Search, administrated by ClientConnect LTD, is not liable for the activities of third-parties and the content of the offers delivered to you. The use of third-party content is your responsibility, and our team recommends that you ignore those pop-ups.Trovi Search screenshot

Like many other search providers, the Trovi Search monitors your online behavior by recording your search terms, clicks, impressions, time spent on various websites, browser settings and other non-personally identifiable information. As for personally identifiable information, it may also be collected but is claimed to be shared with other parties only after you give permission.
The odds are that, in addition to a Conduit toolbar, you have also installed Search Protect, which is distributed along with Trovi software programs. Search Protect is a program which protects your preferred changes in the browsers so that no unwanted program can change the settings. The program alerts you if some third-party program attempts to modify the browsers; however, it is important to note that after uninstalling Search Protect from the computer, the Trovi Search remains as your default home page, search provider, and new tab startup website. In order to restore the prior settings, you have to fix the browser manually, but we recommend that you rely on a reputable spyware and malware prevention program.
Below you will find our removal instructions, which will help you remove Search Protect and any other unwanted program. Moreover, you will learn how to reset the settings of the browsers. Our in-house laboratory testing has shown that an anti-spyware program is the best choice when you dealing with so-called browser hijackers. We recommend using SpyHunter because this real-time security program can remove the Trovi Search from the computer for good and shield the system from multiple computer threats, including Trojan horses, rootkits, other browser hijackers, rogue anti-virus programs, and much more.
