TopBuyer is an adware application that bothers a lot of computer users worldwide. It is promoted as a useful browser extension that can enhance your online shopping experience and help you save money on your most favorite purchases. The main homepage for TopBuyer is located at topbuyer.info. It says that with TopBuyer you can “enjoy the convenience of shopping online and choosing from a selection of great deals right in your own Web browser.” TopBuyer is compatible with all main browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome), so it can reach a rather wide audience. Unfortunately, it is not possible to download TopBuyer at the official website, and that is not surprising – none of the adware applications from the same group have a direct download link.

TopBuyer is very similar to SalesChecker, Deal4me, ShopNDrop and other semi-random name adware applications. It means when you install TopBuyer onto your computer; the entry name in your Control panel might be randomized to tobuyeer, topBuyeer, toppbuyer and many other variations. It is still the same program, though, and you will see that it also adds and extension to your browser to boot.
Since there is no direct download link for TopBuyer, this application usually travels bundled with a list of other unwanted applications. Fake download links are in abundance on file sharing, torrent and various p2p websites. How to remove TopBuyer from browser
Google Chrome
- Press Alt+F and go to Settings.
- Click Extensions on the left pane.
- Remove TopBuyer from the list.
Mozilla Firefox
- Press Ctrl+Shift+A and Add-ons manager tab will open.
- Disable and remove TopBuyer from Extensions.
- Restart your browser.
