If you have encountered secretsauce.biz website before, then you probably understand that it is the main home page for SecretSauce. Its design allows us to make an assumption that SecretSauce has been created and developed by the same team as WonderBrowse, Xaven, LemurLeap and other similar applications. Thus, it is of no surprise that you cannot download the application from its homepage – that is the common glitch with these adware programs. Instead of that, SecretSauce is distributed bundled with such freeware applications as TornTV and Mobogenie. So if you download any of these apps from third party websites, it is very likely that during the installation you would get SecretSauce installed on your PC as well.

To tell you the truth, SecretSauce is more annoying than dangerous, considering all the pop-up ads it displays. However, it may also modify Google search results by displaying an extensive list of sponsored links right above your search results, thus urging you to click them. Our main concern is that some of the links and the pop-up ads could be embedded with potentially malicious content. Just like any other adware or potentially unwanted application, SecretSauce does not review the content it embeds into its ads. Hence, if the application gets exploited by a malicious third party, sooner or later you could get infected with malware.

Malware infection is not a definite outcome, but you should not take your chances. Open Control Panel and uninstall SecretSauce along with all the other related applications. Also, to make sure that your computer is absolutely free of potentially dangerous applications, scan it with SpyHunter free scanner. Afterwards, acquire a computer security tool if need be.
