How to uninstall redirect

Windows XP:

  1. Open the Start menu and click on Control Panel.
  2. Select Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Click on the program you want to remove and then click on the Change/Remove button.

Windows Vista/7:

  1. Open the Start menu and go to Control Panel.
  2. Under the heading Programs, click on Uninstall a Program.
  3. Right-click the entry you want to remove and select Uninstall.

Windows 8:

Right-click on the very bottom left corner of the screen when a minimized version of your desktop pops up.
Select Control Panel.
Click on Uninstall a program under Programs. If the view is given in small or large icons, click on Programs and Features.

Remove from your browsers

Internet Explorer:

  1. Open the browser.
  2. Press and hold the Alt key and press the T key to open Tools.
  3. Click on Manage Add-ons and when a new window pops up, click on Toolbars and Extensions.
  4. Click on the unwanted add-on and then press the Disable button.
  5. To change your search provider, click on Search Providers located on the left side of the window.
  6. Select, remove it and close the window.
  7. To change the home page, again press and hold the Alt key and press T.
  8. Select Internet Options.
  9. In the General tab, change the home page and press Apply.

Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open the browser.
  2. Press and hold Ctrl, do not release the key and press Shift, and then pres the A key to open Extensions.
  3. Select and remove the unwanted add-on. Close the window.
  4. Click on the Firefox icon.
  5. Go to Help - > Troubleshooting Information and click on Reset Firefox.
  6. When the reset is completed, click on Finish.

Google Chrome:

  1. Open the browser.
  2. Press and hold the Alt key and press F.
  3. Select Tools - > Extensions.
  4. Locate the unwanted extension and click on the bin icon to remove it.
  5. On the left side of the window, click on Settings.
  6. Find On startup.
  7. Click on Open a specific page or set of pages and then click on Set pages.
  8. Remove and add a new page. Click OK to confirm.
  9. Go to the Search section and click on Manage search engines.
  10. Hover the mouse over and click on the X sign.
  11. Move the mouse over the search engine you want to use, and click on Make default.
  12. Click OK.
