PestSweeper Removal Guide
Do you know what PestSweeper is?
DESCRIPTION
PestSweeper is a rogue anti-spyware program designed to extort money from you. PestSweeper literally is a “pest” because once it is installed it pests you with annoying popups and alert messages that say you are infected with a parasite of some sort. The reality behind the messages is that you do not have the infections that it says. PestSweeper and the Trojan that may have installed PestSweeper are the pests that you must remove.
PestSweeper may be installed from a Trojan infection such as Zlob without your permission or directly from the PestSweeper.com website. PestSweeper should be called Pest-Maker because it surly does not sweep pests away.
In non-techie terms: PestSweeper is not much different from other rogue anti-spyware programs. It attempts to get you to purchase the full version of PestSweeper through fake scans and popups. Do not purchase or download PestSweeper under any circumstances.
Aliases: PestSweeper, Pest Sweeper, PestSweeper.com.
