NewSaver Removal Guide

Do you know what NewSaver is?

NewSaver is a potentially unwanted application that you should remove from your computer in order to ensure that your computer is not exposed to potentially corrupted marketing practices. You could say that NewSaver merely provides you with various online shopping coupons and so on, but the problem is that the application delves into a third party advertising network for the ads content and it could spell some problems. If you do not want to encounter potential computer security threats, you should remove NewSaver from your computer.

However, removing the application from your browser may not do the job. The thing is that NewSaver’s homepage at newsaver.info does not have a working download link for the plugin; there is only a promotional text that reads:

Get the latest online deals. Never get left behind the shopping trends. Use the NewSaver browser add-on. Now all the best deals are filtered and brought straight into your Web browsers. In less time, you can shop without having any regrets for your buys.

The problem is that even if NewSaver can provide you with the most relevant information on best shopping deals at popular online stores, it comes at a cost. For example, the application needs to collect information on your web browsing habits (including the websites you visit and your most common search queries) in order to provide you with relevant ads content. What is more, this information might be shared with affiliated third parties for marketing purposes.

That does not put NewSaver into illegal application category, but you should keep in mind that this program cannot be held responsible for third party content, because it is not covered by its privacy policy. And, considering that all NewSaver does is display commercial third party ads, one can make a conclusion that the application is nothing, but a medium for third party content promotion that could be exploited for malware distribution as well.

You most probably would want to get rid of NewSaver, because of the annoying pop-up ads, but the thing is that these advertisements could also be dangerous. In case of a third party exploitation, the ads could be embedded with a corrupted third party content and were you to click on a corrupted ad, you would be redirected to a malicious website that is most probably related to malware distribution network.

Follow the instructions below to remove NewSaver from your browser and then scan your computer with an antimalware tool of choice in order to check for any other potentially unwanted programs currently on board. Do not hesitate to invest in a reliable computer security application if need be.
