DESCRIPTION
Internet Antivirus is a fake anti-spyware program that encourages computer users to purchase a full program to remove parasites that it has located on your system. The reality behind Internet Antivirus scanning your system is that the scan is bogus and displays fake results as a scare tactic. Internet Antivirus adds to the fire by displaying popup ads and system alerts that all say that you have some type of infection on your computer. Don’t fall for this scam.
Internet Antivirus is nothing more than a malicious program that is a waste of your time and money if you make the mistake of purchasing it. Internet Antivirus is known to redirect you to websites that may promote or push the Internet Antivirus product. In some cases Internet Antivirus will display popups when you visit one of your favorite websites. Whatever you do, do not purchase Internet Antivirus or believe the alerts that come from Internet Antivirus.
In non-techie terms: Internet Antivirus is known to come directly from the internet-antivirus.com website or a Trojan infection which may be installed through a fake video codec download. It is always a good idea to remove Internet Antivirus the moment that you find out that you have it. Internet Antivirus is not a good program to have residing on your system.
