IE Security Removal Guide
Do you know what IE Security is?
DESCRIPTION
IE Security, as trustworthy as it may sounds, is nothing but another rogue anti-spyware program circulating over the internet. IE Security claims to be a spyware removal program that is able to detect and remove different types of malware from your computer. If you believe this then you are being misled. IE Security does not detect or remove malware or even viruses for that matter.
IE Security is a scam developed by hackers who seek out to extort money from you. IE Security tries to sell itself by locating fake parasites and then claiming that you must purchase a full version of IE Security in order to remove them. Do not fall for this trick. We believe IE Security may also be promoted on the ie-security.com website which is a site that you should stay away from.
In non-techie terms:
IE Security comes from many of the same sources as other well-known rogue anti-spyware applications such as the Trojan Zlob or Vundo. Other sources that IE Security may come from include illegal warez sites or porn web sites. It is very important to remember that IE Security is a program that you must remove and not use for detection or removal of spyware. Do not purchase IE Security under any conditions.
