Do you know what General Antivirus is?
DESCRIPTION
General Antivirus is a fake anti-spyware program known to also be a clone of AlfaCleaner or InternetAntivirus Pro. Both InternetAntivirus Pro and General Antivirus are complete scams and should never be trusted for detection or removal of spyware.
General Antivirus may be installed automatically through a Trojan infection either downloaded from a malicious website such as www.generalantivirus.com or even through a fake video codec. General Antivirus may be similar to other rogue anti-spyware programs in the way that it popups up messages or system notifications warning you of an infection that it supposedly found.
In non-techie terms:
General Antivirus should never be used for your spyware or virus detection and removal needs. You must understand that General Antivirus is a dangerous program created by hackers who set out to steal money from you in return for a useless program. Avoid General Antivirus at all costs and do what it takes to remove it from your system.
