Windows Vista and Windows 7

  1. Open the Start menu.
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. Select Uninstall a program.
  4. Double-click the program you want to remove.

Windows XP

  1. Open the Start menu.
  2. Click Control Panel - > Add or Remove programs.
  3. Select the program you want to remove and click the Remove button.

Windows 8

  1. On the Start screen, simply start typing control panel.
  2. When the Control Panel icon appears, click it.
  3. Select Uninstall a program.
  4. Double-click the unwanted program.

Reset the settings of the browsers

Internet Explorer

  1. Press Alt+T.
  2. Click Internet Options.
  3. Under the General tab, change the home page.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Go to the Search section and click Settings.
  6. Remove the unwanted search engine.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Press and hold down the Ctrl key, do not release the key and press and hold down the Shift key, press A.
  2. Click Extensions.
  3. Remove the unwanted add-on.
  4. To change the home page, click Alt+T.
  5. Click Options.
  6. Under the General tab, type a new URL in the home page box.
  7. Open the drop-down menu next to the search box of the browser.
  8. Click Manage Search Engines.
  9. Set a new one.

Google Chrome

  1. Press Alt+T.
  2. Go to Tools - > Extensions.
  3. Remove Freecorder.
  4. On the left side of the browser, click Settings.
  5. In the On startup section, click Set pages and change the startup URL.
  6. In the Search section, click Manage search engines and change the search provider.
