DESCRIPTION
ErrorInspector is a rogue anti-spyware application that gives exaggerated reports of registry errors on the computer, security scans and/or pop-up security alerts to try to intimidate you into purchasing ErrorInspector. ErrorInspector may also cause data loss, data theft, system crashes, and may download other spyware.
ErrorInspector can be installed through a web browser security hole, or through a Trojan, usually Looksky or Zlob.
When ErrorInspector scans you computer, it would find a greatly exaggerated amount of spyware and when you want to remove them by pressing “Repair now!” your browser redirects to ErrorInspector’s website, suggesting that you buy the full version of the program.
In non-techie terms: Distributors of trojans conduct illicit installation methods to extort money from you. Do not click on ErrorInspector fake security messages.
