Do you know what DwrWeb is?
DESCRIPTION
DwrWebis a program designed to disguise itself as the real DrWeb program. DwrWeb is a rogue anti-spyware program that may prompt false error reports as scare tactics to get users to purchase the full version of DwrWeb. DwrWeb can be very annoying with popups and error messages when performing basic tasks on your computer. It is always a good practice to avoid clicking on popups that DwrWeb may generate on your computer.
In non-techie terms: DwrWeb, like other rogue anti-spyware programs, is designed to use illicit tactics to extort money from you. DwrWeb creates a convincing environment making users believe DwrWeb can fix problems on your computer. DwrWeb may not fix any errors or issues on your computer. Do not under any circumstances download or purchase the DwrWeb program.
