Diranalyze Disk Removal Guide

Do you know what Diranalyze Disk is?

Diranalyze Disk is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that poses as a system optimizer. According to the analysis conducted by our research team, this suspicious program might be introduced to users as a tool that scans drives on the computer to look for duplicates that allegedly are slowing down the computer. Although this PUP looks legitimate and beneficial on paper, our research team warns that it is not as harmless as it might appear to be at first. In fact, it is extremely suspicious, and there is a possibility that it is spying on you and then transferring information about you to unknown parties. Needless to say, it is recommended that you remove Diranalyze Disk from your operating system without further hesitation, and if you are not sure about this, you need to continue reading this report.

The suspicious Diranalyze Disk program does not have an official download site, and so it is important to ask yourself where this potentially unwanted program came from. Did you install it from an unfamiliar source? Was it introduced to you via a strange pop-up? Were other strange programs installed along with it? The chances are that this PUP was offered to you via an unreliable installer carrying a bunch of suspicious threats at the same time. In this case, you might have to be thinking about other malicious infections as well. Hopefully, that is not the case, but you cannot rely on hope. Instead, install a malware scanner that will quickly inspect your operating system and let you know if you need to delete Diranalyze Disk along with other infections. If that is the case, remove the most dangerous threats first.

Once the suspicious Diranalyze is installed, it opens a window to perform a scan. At the bottom of this page, you are introduced to a link (look for the name of the PUP) that routes to Scanfolder.space. This website promotes ScanFolder, a tool that is meant to identify files using up significant amounts of disk space. Does that sound familiar? Well, that is what Diranalyze Disk is meant to do, and so it is possible that this strange website is representing this particular PUP. But why are the names different? Ultimately, that does not matter because there are other things that make this PUP unreliable. For example, it creates scheduled tasks that are used to transmit information to sites located in Russia. Suspiciously, the data is encrypted before it is transmitted, and so it is impossible to know what kind of data is leaked. Unfortunately, there is a possibility that your virtual security is at risk.Diranalyze Disk Removal GuideDiranalyze Disk screenshot

In non-techie terms:

Diranalyze Disk is a strange program that is not only not beneficial but also unreliable. It appears that this PUP can silently transfer data to remote sites without the user’s permission, and since this data is encrypted, it is unknown whether or not private, personally-identifiable information is leaked as well. Of course, because the risk exists, we recommend deleting Diranalyze as soon as possible. You cannot uninstall this potentially unwanted program, and manual removal is not straightforward. You need to get rid of scheduled tasks and remove files, as well as modify the Windows Registry. If this is all too complicated for you, installing a trustworthy anti-malware tool is your best option. Install it now, and you will not need to think about any threats in the future.
