Control Manager is not as it seems and claims to be! Beware – this counterfeit anti-spyware program is only out to coerce money from unsuspecting computer users – who value the safety and security of their computer systems. Control Manager was designed for the purposes of extorting money through the use of various malicious and aggressive tactics. Control Manager, as with many of these type rogue programs employs the user of exaggerated system notifications and scans to warn the user of several ‘threats’ found on the computer system. All threats identified by Control Manager are actually fake and should not be believed to be true! It is all bogus.
In non-techie terms:
Control Manager is not legitimate security tool, and is in fact quite a dangerous application, its presence of which could lead to further damage of essential system files. The best thing to do would be to remove Control Manager as soon as possible.
