Do you know what Content Eraser is?
DESCRIPTION
Content Eraser (ContentEraser) sounds like a program that erases content off of your computer but it is much worse when you can’t control what is being erased. Content Eraser, to our surprise is another rogue anti-spyware program that usually comes from a Trojan infection such as Zlob or Vundo. Once Content Eraser is installed it performs system scans and displays various fake popup messages. We found that this is all done as a scare tactic to get you to purchase Content Eraser.
In non-techie terms: You must not fall for the tricks that Content Eraser plays out on your computer if you have it installed. It is bad enough that you have ContentEraser running on your computer. Your next step should be starting the removal procedure for ContentEraser before it causes damage to your personal data. You should never download, install or purchase ContentEraser for any reason even if you think that it will erase unwanted files.
