Change proxy settings

Open the browser.
Press and hold down the Alt key and hit the F key.

Click either on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or on Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
Click on Properties.

Press OK to save the changes.

Alter Windows host file

Follow the path C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc to access the host file.
Open the file with Notepad (Text document).
Go to the bottom of the text to check whether the only line is “127.0.0.1 localhost” or “::1”. Delete additional lines if some are present.
