  1. Slide the mouse cursor to the lower right corner of your screen.
  2. Click Settings on the Charm bar and go to Control Panel.
  3. Open Uninstall a program and remove Boxo-search.

Windows Vista & Windows 7

  1. Open the Start menu and click Control Panel.
  2. Select Uninstall a program and remove Boxo-search.

Windows XP

  1. Click the Start menu button and navigate to Control Panel.
  2. Open Add or remove programs and uninstall Boxo-search.

Remove From Your Browser

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the search engine icon on the left of the search box.
  2. Select Change Search Settings and remove from the list.
  3. Set a new default search engine and click OK.
  4. Press Alt+T and select Options.
  5. Change your default homepage address under the General tab and click OK.
  6. Press Alt+T and click Add-ons.
  7. Disable and remove Boxo-search from Extensions.
  8. Restart your browser.

Google Chrome

  1. Press Alt+F and go to More tools.
  2. Open Extensions and remove Boxo-search.
  3. Click Settings on the left.
  4. Mark Open a specific page or set of pages under On Startup.
  5. Click Set pages and change your homepage address. Click OK.
  6. Select Manage search engines under Search.
  7. Set a new default search engine, delete and click Done.

Internet Explorer

  1. Press Alt+T and click Manage add-ons.
  2. Remove Boxo-search from Toolbars and Extensions.
  3. Click Search providers on the left pane.
  4. Set a new default search engine, delete and click Close.
  5. Press Alt+T and select Internet options.
  6. Change your homepage address under the General tab. Click OK.
