Antivir was found to be a destructive program. Antivir is a rogue anti-spyware application, which when installed, scans the system, and will ALWAYS find multiple parasites (that are not actually present on the computer). Antivir will carry out this ‘system scan' among other actions, to keep computer users perplexed about the next step to take in order to remove the found parasites. Antivir has one main goal: attempting to coerce users into to purchasing the full version, through the various malicious actions that are performed.

If you have Antivir installed then you may notice several pop-up messages and ‘system scans' that initiate automatically. It is essential that you remove Antivir and all of its files from your computer before you make the big mistake of spending your money on this ineffective program. Antivir does NOT remove parasites or protect a computer in any way, it should NOT be purchased or even installed for that matter. It is recommended that you use a good spyware detection tool to identify the Antivir program on your system so it may be removed safely.
