Some sites or Peer 2 Peer (P2P) sites are spreading Obama and McCain malware to its users.
Obama and McCain, some of the hottest topics of today along with the government Bailout. What better way to spread malware than to include it in P2P video downloads whose file names use Obama and McCain?
Security researchers have discovered that recent downloads from P2P sites that were thought to be John McCain and Barack Obama campaign videos, contained malware. Due to the hype and popularity of recent presidential race campaigns and debates that have taken place, hackers are taking advantage of it to spread a large amount of malware through P2P downloads.

Once VirusGuardPlus is installed you get several popup alerts or system messages warning you of an infection. Usually these messages are fake and only part of the devilish plan to get you to purchase a full version of VirusGuard Plus.

Hackers are staying busy hacking email accounts and now have hacked into Bill O’Reilly’s web site releasing personal details of users. Not to our surprise, just like the Sarah Palin email hacking incident, details of users on the Bill O’Reilly site have been posted onto Wikileaks. Not only do these hackers attack an email or website, but the post screen shots online for everyone to see.
New Hacking tactics?
Is this a new age of hacking where hackers expose their findings to the internet world? Some experts say the attacks are deliberate or responses to statements made about Wikileaks as a despicable website. Whatever the case may be, the members of the Bill O’Reilly website’s passwords were exposed which spread rapidly through many internet forums.

passwords, Internet banking and personal data. This process
is a security risk and should be removed from your system.”
Notice the misspellings? That is a common issue among fake warning messages that promote fake anti-spyware applications.
