DESCRIPTION
PCSweeperPro is a rogue anti-spyware program that may prompt users to purchase additional fake programs for removal of spyware. PCSweeperPro, like its name, is a Pro at sweeping away your money in return for a worthless program that does not remove spyware. PCSweeperPro prompts users with a big red “compromised files” and “danger” tag when it performs a system scan. PCSweeperPro may be installed through sites infected with Trojans or through a download of a fake video codec.
We discovered that PCSweeperPro is not very convincing in the way it misspelled the word “security” within the program. What good program that you know of misspells key words that describe the application? Right off the bat we know that PCSweeperPro is nothing but another fake rogue that is out to take money from computer users that fall into its trap. PCSweeperPro.com was found to be the website that promotes PCSweeperPro and provides a download for PCSweeperPro. PCSweeperPro.com has an IP address of 72.55.156.207 which should never be visited unless you like to damage your computer for fun.

DESCRIPTION
AntiSpywareDeluxe is a rogue application that pretends to be a security scanner program for your computer. We find AntiSpywareDeluxe to resemble many fake anti-spyware programs in the way it alerts users of Trojan infections through popups and system alert messages. AntiSpywareDeluxe is similar to the previous AntispyDeluxe rogue program which falsely claims to be “the best anti-spyware everâ€. AntiSpywareDeluxe may be installed through a trojan infection on your computer such as Zlob or other various security exploits.
AntiSpywareDeluxe.com is the website that the AntiSpywareDeluxe program may direct you too after the system scan has been completed. AntiSpywareDeluxe.com may be malicious and cannot be trusted no matter how good the site looks. We believe AntiSpywareDeluxe was ultimately designed to rip people off and waste their time.

DESCRIPTION
IEAntivirus, also referred to as IE Antivirus 3.2 or IEAntivirus, is a rogue anti-spyware program that pretends to be a legitimate spyware removal tool. IEAntivirus was discovered by us to be a variant of other previous rogue applications such as Malware Bell, Files Secure and IE Defender. IEAntivirus is potent in the way that it displays erroneous scan results listing several infections that it supposedly found on your system. The scan results that IEAntivirus lists are totally bogus and cannot be trusted.
IEAntivirus is no good at removing spyware or any other known parasites. IEAntivirus may be installed through the well known Vundo or Zlob Trojan infection. Usually these types of Trojans are downloaded through a fake video codec or peer to peer websites. IEAntivirus’ ultimate goal is to get computer users to purchase the full version of IEAntivirus through it’s devious antics. IEAntivirus has it’s own website, IEAntivirus.com, which promotes and sells the IEAntivirus software. This website should be avoided because it is very devious in the way it advertises and promotes a potentially dangerous program.

Did you know that one web page or website is infected every five seconds? Sophos, a security vendor, stated that an average of over 15,000 web pages were compromised daily between the months of January and March of 2008. For a comparison, for the whole year of 2007 their were about 6,000 daily infections which equals about one every 14 seconds. This is absolutely unbelievable if you look at this astronomical growth rate of infected web pages.
Sophos additionally reported that 79 percent of the infected or compromised web pages tracked this year belong to legitimate websites. Many big companies’ websites have fallen into the “infected by malware” category lately.

Dpevflbg Toolbar is a fake toolbar that poses a serious threat to the stability of your computer system and your sanity. Dpevflbg Toolbar is known to install or promote rogue anti-spyware programs. Dpevflbg Toolbar is similar to previous fake toolbars where it disguises itself as a legitimate toolbar in your web browser. Dpevflbg Toolbar is part of the Zlob Trojan group of infections.
Any functions listed on the Dpevflbg Toolbar are bogus. Usually the Dpevflbg Toolbar is installed from a fake video codec or Trojan infection that you may have on your computer. We noticed that WinSpywareProtect never gives up with popup messages until WinSpywareProtect and its files are completely removed from your system.

SafetyAlertings.com was discovered to potentially compromise computer user’s passwords and personal information. When we attempted to visit the SafetyAlertings.com website we received popup notifications that warned us of a fake spyworm.win32 parasite infection. The SafetyAlertings.com website may have been blocked by certain internet service providers as it is now known to be a dangerous site to visit.
SafetyAlertings.com may promote and sell rogue applications such as WinPCDoctor, WinSpy and WinSecure. All of the mentioned rogue anti-spyware programs are known to use conniving strategies to get computer user to purchase full versions of worthless software.

ManageDNS404.com has a cleaver tactic of using a common looking web error page to push software onto computer users. This is an out-right scam and we find that it is pretty clever on the part of the hackers that created this method.
ManageDNS404.com tries to get you to download and purchase rogue anti-spyware programs such as AntiSpyware Shield which does not remove spyware like it claims too. ManageDNS404.com usually comes up in the form of the image below. If you see this error page with a rogue program listed on it then you should close the page immediately.

We discovered that internet users can be easily redirected to the Softhomepage.com website without their permission if they are infected with a Trojan such as Zlob. Softhomepage.com distributes aggressive rogue programs such as Virus Heat and Antispyware Shield.
Softhomepage.com attacks internet surfers with annoying popups and warning messages that may state that you have a virus or other infection. Softhomepage.com is no better than other malicious websites that may also distribute rogue anti-spyware software. Softhomepage.com is also known to place items in the system tray alerting users of bogus infections. This may result in slow pc performance and may render your system unstable.
